From tin collections, to support with activities for the women and children in refuge and within the community, our volunteers continue to be the heartbeat of our work.
Volunteering at The Haven
Volunteers enable us to do more and reach more people. Without them, the impact of what we do would not be the same. We encourage individuals who are passionate about women’s rights, ending violence against women and girls and making a difference, to join our team and help us shape a better future. We support, champion and work in partnership with other organisations, recognising that we can achieve more when we work together.

Volunteering for us will enable you to develop new employability skills that can help you stand out. Some of our volunteer roles will also require you to attend our award-winning CPD accredited Domestic Abuse awareness training, as well as training on other related issues.

Jenna’s Story
Jenna volunteered for The Haven Wolverhampton back in the 1980s. We chatted to her about how she came to work with us, how she blossomed in the role, and one memorable incident involving a lively toddler!
