EVENT RECAP | Galentine’s Women’s Networking Event

On Thursday 16th February, we hosted a Galentine’s Women’s Networking event at the prestigious Mount Hotel. The focus of the event was on the importance of getting the work-life balance right. Andrea Cloughley, director of Palatine Financial Planning was our guest speaker. She shared her journey of starting up her own business with top tips on juggling home and work life, to help create a successful 2023.

Other highlights from the event included speed networking, well-received nuggets from a mindful coach, all the amazing vendors in attendance, and everyone at the event coming together to write kind messages of love and hope for the women and children we support for our wall of love

In the video below, Hayley, our Senior Fundraiser talks about why events like these are so important to The Haven.

We also spoke to some of the attendees at the event:

We asked our guest speaker Andrea what she loved about the event and why these events are so important.

We asked Rachel what she was most looking forward to at the Event, and why she’s an advocate for The Haven at her workplace, OSB Group.

Ayanna and Emily also shared their thoughts:

A special thank you to everyone who attended this event. Your support means so much to us, and we hope you were able to take something positive and inspiring away from the event.
