We are so grateful to all of you who have contributed to Christmas at The Haven this year. We hope to share more in the new year about the impact that your donations have made. Today we’d like to take a moment to share our appreciation for this incredible support from Porsche Wolverhampton!
Seeing our very own Haven-branded Porsche, aka Santa Sleigh, in the showroom being filled with toys throughout December has been so exciting! An amazing team of people at Porsche, along with their generous customers, have donated Christmas trees and decorations for all of our refuges, thousands of pounds worth of gifts for children aged from 0 -18, along with over £1,000 worth of gift vouchers for an array of stores for the women and the teenagers we support to enjoy.
Not only this, but they are also ensuring everyone we support in refuge and within the community can enjoy a traditional Christmas dinner, and they are covering the cost of a trip to Chester Zoo for everyone in refuge to enjoy in the new year!
Mark Dyer, a Sales Executive at the branch said on LinkedIn; “What an unbelievable effort by all the staff and customers at Porsche Wolverhampton. We’ve managed to raise over £25,000 and donate a Macan full of toys and gifts to ensure all the people that the fantastic charity look after have a remarkable Christmas.
Hearing some of the stories that some of the people in their care have to go through is extremely distressing so to be able to give back is a rewarding and humbling thing to do. Merry Christmas from everyone at Porsche Wolverhampton.”
