Building a future for vulnerable women and children
Can you help us build a future for women and children who are vulnerable to abuse, violence and homelessness this domestic violence awareness month?
We have been given the green light from City of Wolverhampton Council to get started on a £1 million construction project that will not only bring safe accommodation to those fleeing domestic abuse and homelessness in our city, but will also provide access to vital care and wrap-around support, to help them look towards a happier future.
We have been dedicated to supporting vulnerable women and children who for half a century, with 2023 seeing us mark our jubilee year. This exciting project represents a significant step forward in continuing to fulfil our mission and commitment to the well-being and safety of women and children.
How you can you get involved?
You can ‘Buy A Brick’ on The Haven’s Virtual Wall this October, to help build safer futures for women and children fleeing abuse. Our purpose-built accommodation will provide eight new apartments, offering women and children somewhere to rebuild their lives, whilst they look towards a safe and happy future.
You can ‘Buy A Row of Bricks’* on The Haven’s Virtual Wall this October, to help build safer futures for women and children fleeing abuse. Our purpose-built accommodation will provide eight new apartments, offering women and children somewhere to rebuild their lives, whilst they look towards a safe and happy future.
* Your donation will ‘Buy a Row of Bricks’ which equates to five bricks on our virtual wall.

What happens when you BUY A BRICK?
As a token of our gratitude for your generous donation to The Haven, you will receive:
- A virtual brick proudly displayed on our website. This virtual brick will remain live on our website for 5 years and can feature your name if you purchased it individually, or the name of your company, team, or group.
- An official Buy a Brick certificate, acknowledging your valuable contribution.
- Shareable graphics designed for social media to proudly announce your purchase of a brick and promote your support for The Haven.
- Updates on how the project is going, and good news stories of those we have been able to support in the new build as a result of your kind donation.
