DESCRIPTION:Every powerful movement begins with a conversation\, and often\, that conversation starts over coffee. \nJoin The Haven Wolverhampton for Brewing Change\, a special networking event marking the UN’s 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence (25 November – 10 December). This international campaign calls on individuals\, organisations\, and communities to take action to end violence against women and girls\, and together\, we can make that change happen locally. \n\n			 \n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				What’s Brewing \n9:00am – 9:45am: Arrive\, connect\, and enjoy coffee and pastries as you meet others passionate about creating safer futures for women and children. \n9:45am – 10:30am: Hear from Laura Rogers\, CEO of The Haven Wolverhampton\, as she shares insight into the global campaign\, our local impact\, and how you can make a tangible pledge: whether that’s fundraising\, volunteering\, or donating resources like meeting space. \nYou’ll also hear from Pam Beckley\, our Lived Experience Lead\, who will share the story behind ARTiculating HerStory\, our creative programme amplifying survivor voices through art and poetry\, and reflect on the transformative power of storytelling. \n10:30am – 11:00am: Top up your coffee\, make your pledge\, and be part of the collective commitment to end violence against women and girls. \nWhy It Matters\nEvery day\, The Haven supports women and children escaping domestic abuse\, helping them rebuild their lives with safety\, dignity\, and hope.
