This month we are celebrating the wonderful family and friends of the late Kalwinder Singh Mangat (Kully) who organised a Charity Football Match in memory of him back in July 2019.
Following the sad loss of Kully last January, his family and friends decided to commemorate Kully’s life with one of his great loves - the beautiful game of football. And so Kully’s Pack was born as fellow Wolves fans came together to organise a charity football match in July last year at AFC Wulfrunians Football Club.
The day was a wonderful celebration of Kully involving some dazzling displays of football, a tombola and raffle, as well as an appearance by a friendly Stormtrooper! Although the weather was a little drizzly, the focus was more on the impressive dribbling that would put Traore to shame! And the crowds were roaring with delight at the tackles, headers, and of course, goals!
Their commitment and dedication resulted in a truly amazing donation of £3450.75 to support women and children at The Haven - putting them at the top of the league! This will continue to make such a great difference to women and children that we support and it is truly lovely that something positive can come out of such a sad loss.
This month we are therefore pleased to present these footballing all-stars with our fundraising hero cape!
