Role: Fundraising Assistant
Pay: £20,000 – £21,500 per annum, pro rata 
Hours of work: 22.5 hours per week

Role Overview 

If you enjoy administrative tasks but at the same time would love to help to make a difference to women and children vulnerable to domestic abuse and homelessness, then we have a fantastic opportunity in The Haven’s fundraising team. We are looking for an organised individual who can work off their own initiative in a fast paced, ever changing fundraising team. You will work closely with a small team across a range of tasks from reporting, thank you letters, communicating with our lovely donors, overseeing the collection tins for the charity and at times will be involved in the fundraising events that we organise as a team. 

This is an administrative role with a fundraising twist, so if you are a stickler for attention to detail, have good writing skills, enjoy a wide variety of admin tasks, and can work off your own initiative then we would love to hear from you. Tell us all about your previous experience in an admin role and tell us what would excite you about incorporating your current skills into a role where you would also be making a difference to those at The Haven. 

Whilst we are looking for someone with experience of administrative tasks, we are also looking for someone who would be excited to be make a difference to the lives of those in our community, to bring some creativity to the table and be part of a wider enthusiastic and passionate fundraising team – so together we can forge positive change.
