Whether you’re a seasoned quiz-night regular or joining us for the first time\, you’re guaranteed a lively evening. \nEntry: £5 per person | Teams of 4(Ticket admits a team of four for £20 plus a 50p booking fee.) \nExpect raffles\, extra games and plenty of laughter throughout the night. \nWe can’t wait to see you there!For team enquiries\, email give@havenrefuge.org.uk \n\n\n\nImportant Information\nThe bar will be fully stocked with all of your favourite drinks\, crisps and nuts – but please note\, due to the change in venue\, meal orders are no longer possible. DESCRIPTION:A Lunch & Learn for Empurple Month and Women’s History Month \nThis Domestic Abuse Awareness Lunch & Learn is part of our Empurple Month activities\, inviting us to reflect on how far we have come\, and how far we still need to go to protect women\, children\, and survivors of abuse. \nDelivered by The Haven Wolverhampton\, this session explores what domestic abuse really looks like today\, how the law has evolved in response to survivor voices\, and why awareness\, language\, and action still matter. From coercive control and digital abuse to the barriers survivors face when seeking help\, this is a practical\, myth-busting session designed to build understanding and confidence. \nEmpurple Month asks us to Give to Gain; to give time\, attention\, learning\, and advocacy\, so others can gain safety\, dignity\, and choice. \nWhat you’ll learn: \n\nWhat domestic abuse is\, and what it is not\nHow domestic abuse has been recognised and legislated against over time\nThe realities of coercive control and digital abuse today\nWho domestic abuse affects (and why myths are dangerous)\nHow to recognise signs of abuse and respond safely\nWhy language matters\, and how small shifts can remove barriers\n\nWho it’s for: \nAnyone who wants to better understand domestic abuse\, support colleagues or communities with confidence\, and be part of a culture that believes\, listens\, and acts.

It’s a chance to step right up to the edge\, trust the ropes beneath you\, and take on the height for a cause that truly matters. Lean into your strength to help survivors be seen\, heard\, and safe. Every abseiler who takes part helps The Haven continue providing safety\, refuge\, and specialist support to women and children rebuilding their lives after domestic abuse. \nWhether you’re conquering a fear\, ticking something off your bucket list\, or coming together with friends or colleagues to do something meaningful\, this is an experience you won’t forget in a hurry. Expect nerves\, excitement\, encouragement from below\, and the unbeatable feeling of knowing your bravery is directly supporting others to find safety and stability. \nChoose how you take part We’ve created two flexible ways to join the abseil\, so you can take part in a way that suits you best: \nMorning or Afternoon Session \n• £30 registration fee + £150 minimum sponsorship \n• £90 registration fee + £90 minimum sponsorship \nWith just 50 places available\, this is a unique opportunity to be part of something powerful\, purposeful\, and unforgettable. \nAre you in? \n			 \n				\n				\n				\n			\n			 \n				\n				\n			 \n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Important information \nTicket options \nTo make the abseil as accessible and flexible as possible\, we’re offering two ways to take part in both the morning and afternoon sessions. You can choose a lower registration fee with a higher fundraising target\, or a higher registration fee with a lower fundraising commitment\, whichever suits you best. Both options work towards a shared goal of raising £180 per participant\, helping to cover event costs and generate vital funds for The Haven’s work. Whether you’re excited to fundraise with friends\, family or colleagues\, or prefer to contribute more upfront and fundraise at your own pace\, the choice is yours. However you take part\, every abseiler plays a valuable role in supporting women and children to find safety and stability. \nAge and consentParticipants must meet the minimum weight requirement to take part. Anyone under the age of 18 will need written parental or guardian consent\, and a responsible adult must be present on the day. \nWeight requirementsFor safety reasons\, participants must weigh at least 3.5 stone and no more than 18 stone. \nTime slots and arrivalWhen booking\, please select your preferred time slot. We’ll do our best to accommodate this\, but in some cases we may need to adjust timings and will contact you in advance if this is necessary.All participants must arrive 30 minutes before their allocated slot to attend the mandatory safety briefing. \nAccessibility and supportWe want this event to be as accessible as possible. DESCRIPTION:About this Event\n\n\n\n\n\nAre you an adrenaline junkie always looking for the next challenge? Perhaps you or someone you know has taken part in one of our 2023/2024/2025 skydive challenges and you’re feeling inspired? Or maybe you are just looking for the next BIG thing to tick off your bucket list. Well then WE NEED YOU!! Sign up to take part in a skydive on a day of your choice at Langar Airfield in Nottingham and become one of our leap of legends! We will organise your skydive for you on your chosen date\, and will support you on your fundraising journey as you raise vital funds for women and children fleeing domestic abuse and homelessness. \nYou can feel the thrill of a 14\,000ft freefall skydive\, take in the glorious sights from way above\, feel a full adrenaline rush as you reach a 120mph velocity before gently gliding to the ground under the parachute. So many of our previous skydivers can vouch for the amazing adrenaline rush and lifelong memories this challenge will give you. What’s more\, every penny raised will be helping to ensure more vulnerable women and children can flee to safety\, and access the vital care and support services they need to rebuild their lives following the trauma of abuse. So\, are you ready to take on this challenge in 2026? \n     \n\n\nAll skydives include: \n\n\n\nA fully qualified parachuting instructor\nTraining session before your jump\nMemories to last a lifetime\n\nSo whether you are an individual looking for a big bucket list tick\, a group of friends looking for a fun day out\, a business looking for a team building activity\, or a returning Jump 50 challenger looking to re-live that amazing adrenaline rush – this could be the event for you! \n\nChoose a date which suits you best\, (time-slots will be arranged closer to the jump date). For each skydive\, there is a £45 registration fee (non-refundable) and you are committing to additionally raising a minimum of £395 in sponsorship (80% of your funds must be raised 4 weeks prior to your jump).
