DESCRIPTION:About this Event\n\n\n\n\n\nRev up your engines and buckle up\, because #TeamHaven is hitting the road at this years’ Krazy Races event in Wolverhampton! We are looking for budding teams from local businesses to put on their seatbelts (safety first of course) and join us for an adrenaline-fueled frenzy on 1st September 2024. \nWe have a number of charity team places available and we would love to welcome you to be a Krazy Racer as part of our driving team. The benefit to signing up with us? Not only are you doing something amazing for a local charity\, but you also will get a significant discount on entry (team entries are usually anywhere between £150-£250 – with Team Haven\, your entry is just £60!*) \nWith every mile\, every twist and every turn of the track\, you will be helping to raise vital funds and awareness for women and children at The Haven fleeing from domestic abuse and homelessness. By rallying behind #TeamHaven\, you won’t just be reaching for that all-important win on the track\, you will also be playing a part in driving change locally in our community. Every penny raised will help vulnerable women and children to recover from the trauma they have experienced and look forwards to a better future. \nAs part of the event\, you will be launching yourselves through Wolverhampton city centre past the iconic Beatties building in your own carefully hand-crafted karts tackling over 350m of chicanes\, obstacles\, water and more… all the way down to the finish line! You will be competing to be the best dressed\, have the best designed and the fastest soapbox karts powered by nothing more than krazy courage\, wacky inspiration\, gravity and a bit of luck! \nCompetitors will work their way through a knockout style competition with only the fastest 10 cars making it through to the final\, where they will battle to take home the winner’s trophy! \nSo… what are you waiting for? Are you ready to shift gears and join #TeamHaven for a Krazy Race this September? \n\n\n\n\n\n\nIMPORTANT INFORMATION \n\n\n\nWe are working with Krazy Races (Sarah Belcher Events) directly for this event and so by signing up to take part\, The Haven will need to share your personal/company details with them in order to register you officially as a team. Only relevant details will be shared and you can read more about how we manage your data here.\nWhen signing up to this challenge\, you will be sent the Rules and Regulations set out by Krazy Races\, you will need to adhere to these throughout.\n*Entry is £60 with a minimum sponsorship per team of £300.\n\n\nPhotography \n\n\nPlease note\, #TeamHaven will be taking photos and videos at this event as well as the event organisers at Krazy Races. Photos and videos taken at the event may be used to promote the success of the event and may be shared with third parties (such as local media outlets) to promote future events too. If you do not wish to be included in photos/videos specifically taken by The Haven\, please make yourself known to a relevant Haven staff member at any time during the event. On occasion\, The Haven will use external photographers for events who own the official copyright of images. DESCRIPTION:Join us for the fourth in the series of our 2024 Haven quiz nights! \n\n\n\n\n\nWe are really looking forward to welcoming you along to another of our 2024 Haven quiz night’s. Quiz Masters Steve Saul and Dicky Dodd will both be back for the usual night of entertainment\, bringing you a night of questions and mid-week fun – all kindly sponsored by Paycare. \nGrab your friends\, family or colleagues and join us at Fordhouses Cricket Club. Whether you are a long standing attendee\, or a newbie – there will be lots of fun to be had. \nEntry is £5 per person in teams of 4. (This ticket includes admission for a team of 4 people to our Haven Quiz Night for £20 – plus a 50p booking fee.)
