DESCRIPTION:About this training:\nOverview: This course provides an introduction to the fundamentals of domestic abuse awareness. Participants will learn to identify signs of domestic abuse\, understand its various forms\, and become familiar with the resources available to support victims. This course is ideal for individuals who seek a foundational understanding of domestic abuse and how to create safe environments for those affected. \nLearning Outcomes: \n\nUnderstand Domestic Abuse and what forms it can take.\nBasic awareness of any new or emerging legislation.\nRecognise the signs\, behaviours and indicators of Domestic Abuse.\nUnderstand the impact of Domestic Abuse on adults and children.\nUnderstand the barriers victims may face when reporting issues and accessing support.\nRespond to a disclosure of domestic abuse in a trauma informed way.\n\n  \nIMPORTANT NOTICE: Please note that this training event is subject to minimum attendance requirements.
