Volunteering at The Haven Wolverhampton: Would you like to help?
The Haven Wolverhampton has offered a supportive volunteer programme for many years. Volunteering at The Haven is a great way to meet knew people, get involved with the local community, develop your skills, develop an interest in women's issues and most importantly help support the women and children in Haven refuges across Wolverhampton.
As a volunteer at The Haven you can choose which area of work you would like to specialise in. We offer volunteer programmes in the following;
- The Haven Hostels
- Children's Services
- Administration and Office
- Floating Support
- Marketing and Publicity
- Fundraising
- Resettlement and Refurbishment
- Information Technology
As a Haven volunteer you will receive domestic violence awareness training along with flexible support from our Volunteer Coordinators. You can also choose the number of hours and days you would like to work although we do ask for a minimum commitment of 3 hours per week.
The Haven offers a number of volunteer opportunities for different people dependent upon age. If you think you would like to be a volunteer for The Haven please click on one of the links below for more information;

Placements - For those looking to volunteer as part of a University or College placement
Please note that all volunteers for The Haven must meet the standards of The Haven volunteer programme. Volunteers must be sensitive to the cultural and emotional needs of women and children experiencing domestic violence and homelessness. All Haven volunteers will need to obtain an enhanced CRB Disclosure.
