24 Hour Helpline Volunteer
The Haven is looking for volunteers to supports its 24 Hour Helpline service providing confidential support and practical help to women experiencing Domestic Violence and / or Homelessness. Volunteers will be required to work as part of a team covering 24 Hour / 7 days a week rota system. Volunteers must have exceptional communication skills and be able to demonstrate an awareness and understanding of the health and safety issues related to this post.

Charity Shop Volunteers
We are looking for committed and reliable volunteers to help staff two shop units in Wolverhampton City Centre and act as representatives to The Haven helping to contribute hugely to how the public perceive us and the work we do.
We are looking to recruit both Senior Charity Shop Volunteers and Charity Shop Volunteers.
Senior Charity Shop Volunteers will help to guide and supervise Charity Shop Volunteers as well as offer support to Haven staff on other related duties. We are looking for individuals who have experience in retail or customer care, experience in cash handling and the ability to process, sort and price donations. Senior Charity Shop volunteers must also demonstrate the ability to motivate team members and possess the ability to work independently. Charity Shop Volunteers are also being recruited. As a Haven Charity Shop Volunteer you will assist and serve customers. You will work as part of a team to take delivery of, process, clean, sort and price donations. You will also be required to help with designing shop windows and other displays. Volunteering at a Haven charity shop will allow you to meet lots of different people, learn new skills and become a valued member of the team. If you can spare a morning or afternoon a week then we would love to hear from you.
Event Volunteers
The Haven Wolverhampton runs a number of fundraising and awareness raising events throughout the year and volunteers plat a vital role in making our events happen. You could ensure our events run smoothly and safely on the day or organise one of your own events.
Maintenance Volunteers
The Haven is looking for Volunteers to support our Maintenance team with basic repairs and maintaining the upkeep of The Haven refuges. We need your help – from painting and decorating, to putting up shelves to re-wiring a plug! If you have basic DIY skills or are keen to learn, we want to hear from you!
