The Haven Wolverhampton, established in 1973 provides safe, temporary accommodation for women and children who become homeless and/or who experience Domestic Violence and who seek emergency accommodation. Applications are invited for the following posts, from women who have a strong commitment to working with women and children. |

Part-Time Female Children’s Worker (Therapeutic Resources) |
Post-holder will plan and deliver quality play and activity sessions within a safe environment, ensuring adequate supervision, for children and young people affected by domestic violence. You will help develop child centred services, utilising agencies within the community, to contribute to the wellbeing of the children.
You must:
- be qualified (or equivalent qualification) in NNEB/CACHE or BTEC Diploma in childhood studies or NVQ Level 3
- have a variety of experience and direct working with and supporting vulnerable children and young people.
- Have a knowledge and understanding of current and relevant legislation
- Possess report writing skills & be able to work on your own initiative
