Could you be a Helpline Volunteer?

The Haven currently operates a 24 Hour Domestic Violence Helpline to which it receives over 2000 calls a month. In order to meet such demand The Haven is looking to recruit women to volunteer their time and assist in taking calls to the telephone helpline. Volunteers will receive an induction and relevant training in the skills needed to fulfil the role of Helpline volunteer.

The next induction sessions will take place on 2rd March 2010. Please note, due to the nature of the work of The Haven Wolverhampton, we will only be accepting applications from females for the role of helpline volunteer.
