Your donations make a huge difference to the work of The Haven Wolverhampton. Every penny raised is used to improve the quality of life for women and children suffering Domestic Violence and Homelessness.

The Haven Wolverhampton Harvest Appeal

This Harvest The Haven is appealing for donations of tinned food and vegetables for use in our 5 refuges. The Haven currently supports up to 46 women and 100 children in refuge and we aim to encourage sensible, healthy living.

If you are able to spare a couple of tins of food, or pick up an extra couple of items whilst out shopping please get in touch on 01902 572140 or email info@havenrefuge.org.uk

Why not...hold a pantry party! The craze that is sweeping the globe encourages people to organise music and art events but instead of charging for tickets, ask guests to bring a tin or can of food. The food items can then be gathered and donated to The Haven. Please ensure that tinned and canned goods are within their sell by date. For more information on different pantry parties taking place across the globe visit http://twitter.com/thepantryparty

We also appeal to our supporters to make financial donations in order for The Haven to continue to provide vital support services to victims of Domestic Violence. Make your donation online here or send a cheque made payable to The Haven Wolverhampton to PO Box 105, Wolverhampton, WV1 4LP

Why not...hold a harvest supper! Organised at a church hall or community centre it is easy to organise a traditional harvest supper. Charge people per ticket (enough to cover costs and a small profit). Keep things simple - tasty home-cooked food is the order of the day. A little bit of entertainment always helps the evening go with a swing. Money raised from ticket sales can then be donated to The Haven.

For information on our harvest appeal and to discuss potential fundraising ideas call 01902 572140 or email info@havenrefuge.org.uk

With your support we bring an end to Domestic Violence.
