Haven hosts first webinar
On Monday 7th December The Haven Wolverhampton held its first ever webinar (web-based seminar) to mark the 16 Days of Action Against Gender Violence Campaign 2009.
The webinar was broadcast live over the internet and included a panel of speakers from The Haven Wolverhampton and CAADA (Co-ordinated Action Against Domestic Abuse) who discussed the findings of the recent ‘Safety in Numbers’ report commissioned by the Hestia Fund and funded by the Sigrid Rausing Trust and the Henry Smith Charity.
The panel consisted of:
- Kath Rees – Chief Executive, The Haven Wolverhampton
- Emma Howarth – Senior Researcher, CAADA
- Kath Farmer – Head of Community and Support Services, The Haven Wolverhampton
The webinar was facilitated by Grace Lee, Public Relations Officer at The Haven Wolverhampton.
The webinar lasted approximately 30 minutes and was listened to by representatives from voluntary and statutory organisations in and across Wolverhampton.
