Donation from Trinity Housing

The Haven Board would like to inform that as a result of a large donation from Trinity Housing we are now able to refurbish and transform one of our existing refuge buildings. Sadly Trinity Housing, a women's refuge in the Black Country, closed last year resulting in a loss of valuable safe temporary accommodation for women and children experiencing Domestic Violence.

Facilities at The Haven refuge will be updated to incorporate en-suite accommodation and improved disable access with wonderful play provision for children. We look forward to sharing more information when work is complete in early 2011.

Our grateful thanks are extended to the Chair and Trustees of Trinity who I hope will feel encouraged that the funds will be used for the benefit of disadvantaged women and children in Wolverhampton. We wish to carry on their legacy in memory of Mary Spooner.
