Running Shoes at the Ready!

The Haven Wolverhampton is calling on local athletes and budding sportspersons to pledge their support for the charity at this years Carver Wolverhampton City Marathon.

This years Marathon is due to take place on Sunday 4th September commencing at West Park with hundreds of runners expected to take part to raise funds for charity.

The Haven Wolverhampton is looking for participants to take part in one of the many marathon events and raise sponsorship in order to raise money for women and children affected by Domestic Violence. Should you wish to take part and raise money for The Haven you will receive support from our fundraising team and you can even get your hands on a free t-shirt which you can proudly sport on the day.

This years Carver Marathon Events include;

Full Marathon (26 Miles / 41.8 km)
Half Marathon (13 Miles / 20.9 km)
Half Marathon Relay Challenge (13 Miles / 20.9km) – Take it in turn to run sections of the Marathon as part of a relay team. The Relay Challenge is also open to children aged 12 to 16, however children must be able to make their own way around the circuit or have adult supervision at the change over points.
12 Mile / 19.4 km Cycle Event
2.62 km / 1.6 mile Children’s Mini Marathon

To register to take part in this years Marathon on behalf of The Haven Wolverhampton please download and complete the relevant booking form:
Adult Events (including full marathon, half marathon, relay event and cycle event)
Children’s Event

Carver booking forms (only) should be sent to the Marathon Office, Carver (Wolverhampton) Ltd, Littles Lane, Wolverhampton, WV1 1JY, with a cheque or postal order for the relevant amount, by Saturday August 27th.

Don’t forget to let us know that you will be running for us by completing and returning the Haven Registration Form  and return it to Fundraising Officer, The Haven Wolverhampton, PO Box 105, Wolverhampton, WV1 4LP so that we can forward you your sponsorship form.
