Many women may not initially recognise that they are experiencing Domestic Violence or the extent to which Domestic Violence can affect their lives. |

Domestic Violence has also been found to affect children in a number of different ways: |

· Emotional Problems—crying, anxiety, sadness, confusion, anger, depression, nightmares, fears & |

· Behavioural Problems—aggression, becoming troublesome at home or school, withdrawing themselves, regressive behaviour, lower academic achievements |

· Physical Problems—headaches, stomach aches, nausea, eating disorders, bedwetting, insomnia |
